October 17, 2008

To our Dear Patients:

I write this letter with mixed emotions because caring for you and all of our patients has been a great source of satisfaction and pleasure.

Your dental well being is of the utmost importance to me and my concern for you is that you continue to receive the same kind of personal dental care that we have tried to provide you over the years. I am very pleased that Dr. Jason Retter will be taking over our practice effective November 17, 2008. Until this day, we will be working and scheduling normally at our Cote Des Neiges office.

Dr.  Jason Retter comes to the practice with excellent credentials. He is a dean’s honor list student and graduate of McGill University, with the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology from McGill University. Upon completion of dental school, Jason continued his commitment to clinical and theoretical dentistry. He was one of only six dentists offered a position in the year-long intensive, multidisciplinary residency program at the Sir Mortimer B. Davis Jewish General Hospital, a McGill University Teaching Hospital. This world-renowned program provided him with the opportunity to gain in depth experience in many critical areas of dentistry such as surgery, cosmetics, the treatment of medically compromised patients and traditional family practice.

While in private practice, Dr. Retter regularly attends continuing education programs, acquiring the latest knowledge and practical expertise in a wide range of topics in the ever evolving field of dentistry. These programs include periodontal gum surgery and the surgical placement of dental implants. Currently Dr. Jason Retter is practicing in a well established state-of-the art office with his father, Dr. Warren Retter, a veteran dentist of 30 plus years.

Dr. Jason Retter and I share the same philosophies about the practice of dentistry and it is reassuring to me to leave my practice in the hands of such a competent practitioner. I believe you will find Dr. Retter to be not only extremely talented, but also very compassionate and attentive to your needs. He has a calm and caring chairside demeanor and a gentle touch.

Dr. Jason Retter's office is well situated, with more parking than we have at the Cote-des-Neiges location. The office is adjacent to the Snowdon Metro at Suite 305, 5165 Queen Mary Rd.

You will be pleased to know that Claudia will continue at the front desk and Wanda will continue as your hygienist. When you wish to make an appointment, just call the same telephone number, 514-739-7878 and schedule your appointment.

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your many years of loyalty and friendship. It has been a pleasure to serve you.  My wife Gloria and I extend our best wishes to you for your future health and happiness.

Sincerely,

Dr. Gerald Rudy
